Organizational Commitments

The Oregon Land Justice Project is a commitment by the Oregon land trust community to expand Indigenous access to land stewarded by land trusts and align their work with Indigenous priorities. Participation is by organization, not individual, and the “price of entry” is a board-approved commitment letter (board resolution) that demonstrates approval of their organization's time, energy and commitment to participate in the Learning Journey and supports the Oregon Land Justice Project goals stated in the Vision Statement. Each participating land trust articulated in the board resolution their own reasons for pursuing this land justice work and to develop their own strategic goals. All of our collective resources will be brought together and focused on modeling power sharing and ceding power to Indigenous groups.
